in app import various document types (video, audio, photo's, pdf , text). can use uiimagepickercontroller photo's , videos. can use uidocumentpickerviewcontroller file types icloud drive - not seem find files have created on device (and not added icloud). feel missing fundamental. nsopenpanel there osx, there nothing equivalent ios?
uidocumentpickerviewcontroller can access files in icloud or similar service (eg dropbox). there no way access files outside app's sandbox. must first moved (or copied) icloud.
